Anthem AZ MCSO Sheriff's Deputy Shot and Killed, Responding to Anthem Burglary
Sheriff Deputy 50 year old William Coleman a 20 year veteran was shot and killed by a unidentified 40 year old burglar on 1-8-2012 at 4:15 AM. Sheriff Deputies responded to Angel Pediatriacs after a report of a burglary. When the approached a white van occupied by a 40 year old male and a pitbull. Deputy Coleman attempted to make contact when the suspect opened fire with an automatic rifle. The suspect was shot and killed by a second MCSO Sheriff Deputy.
